The Empyrean Student Center

The Empyrean strives to be the center of the arts and design programs within CU Boulder through its use of exhibition, community, and lecture spaces. To maximize usage and preserve consistent circulation, The Empyrean was designed around the site's wedge shape.

The open and arid design focuses on augmenting natural light to fill desired spaces, while moveable shades allow a playful approach to lighting. As a student hub, The Empyrean provides adequate usable space to serve the greater campus commuter.

Building a Legacy In Engineering

The Building a Legacy in Engineering grant is a collaboration between students at Tuskegee University and the University of Colorado Boulder to create the vision outlined by Harvest Dreams.

Harvest Dreams' visionary, Robertha Richardson, is developing an innovative living learning lab. The proposed lab seeks to incorporate sustainable housing and agricultural practices in a way that can inspire similar projects in the future.
